THE CHALLENGE
To create a hotel store design for the 1 Hotel at Central Park, NYC. Moody and lush, the store's atmosphere reflects that of the hotel lobby, a dark, marbled environment, centred around unique materials. SketchUp was used to built out and merchandise the store it was then rendered in Podium.

ABOUT THE HOTEL
Steps from Central Park, 1 Hotel Central Park is an urban retreat inspired by nature. Designed using reclaimed materials, it is one-of-a-kind, naturally. The hotel incorporates greenery at every turn. Living moss grows in hallway planters throughout, Kokodema hangs in the lobby, and a three-story living green facade greets you upon arrival.
APPROACH + SOLUTION
The 1 Hotel Central Park partnered with Kassantex New York to create custom, sustainably sourced bath and bedding for the hotel. They have an exclusive line of towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, and robes. This collection would be available to purchase in the hotel store so guests can replicate that hotel feel at home. The store will also stock the personal care product line used in the hotels, as well as a curated selection of decor items from their partner, Sempre Furniture.
